Cat Eyes Makeup
Instructions
Things You’ll Need
Mirror
Powder brush
Translucent makeup powder
Liquid eyeliner
1
Start with clean, moisturized skin. Use your powder brush to apply a fine dusting of translucent makeup powder over your eyelid. This base will give the liner something to adhere to.
2
Sit down at your work area. Place the mirror on the table in front of you and rest your elbow on the table to steady your hand. Draw the brush out of the liquid liner pot. Wipe off any excess on the rim of the bottle.
3
Look head-on into the mirror with your eyes wide open and mark where you would like the tip of your wing to be. Imagine a line stretching from the tail end of your eyebrow halfway down to the outer edge of your eye and make a dot in this location on both eyes.
4
Look down into the mirror and keep your eye half open so that you can see while you line the eye.
5
Place the tip of the brush at the inner corner of your upper eyelid. Create short dashes along the lash line, moving toward the outer eye. Keep the liner thin in the inner corner and gradually get thicker as you reach the outer edge.
6
Curve the eyeliner up toward your marking from Step 3 by flicking the brush with a swift twist of your wrist.
7
Smooth out any wavy lines and thicken the wing by retracing your curve again. Repeat on the other eye.
